A bit about me...

Yoga Teacher, Author, Dog Mom

I am happy that you are here to journey with me through this thing called life. I am blessed in many ways: I love the work that I do as a yoga teacher and now author. I am healthy! I have a loving network of family and friends. I am the mother to the best rescue dog on the planet.

I also wake up everyday with a broken heart. I haven't been the same since I lost my mother. I am triggered by words, songs, smells and memories that are both happy and sad. I am in a state of grief.

One purpose of this blog is to let you know that if you feel this way too, it is normal. Not only is it normal, but it's ok to talk about it. 

But don't worry, it isn't all about sadness and loss. It's about surviving and returning to thriving and serving .It's about finding laughter again. It's about showing love in all ways and living life full out.
